Friends: Courteney Cox surprises fans as actor serves coffee at Central Perk cafe

Friends fans have been visiting the iconic sitcom’s sets for years now, with the tours being the Holy Grail for the fandom, but some lucky people got an extra special experience recently as Courteney Cox was working that day!

The Monica Geller actress has been picking up some extra shifts lately. Working at the gift shop, checking people’s entry passes at the gates, and serving coffee in Central Perk.

Cox is actually on the studio lot filming her new Starz comedy horror Shining Vale, and took the opportunity in production breaks for some cute Instagram content, so you’re unlikely to bump into her on a regular basis. Still, we imagine the folks who did get to meet her were over the moon.
Courteney served as producer for the recent Friends reunion special, and was nominated for an Emmy award for it. Famously, she was the only one of the main six actors not nominated for one during the show’s heyday.
Of course, the actress is delighted to receive the nod, but recently admitted that it still stings’ being the only main cast member not to be nominated for their acting.

Speaking of the reunion, Jennifer Aniston recently admitted that it was actually a “brutal” experience.

“Going back there, it’s nostalgic in a way that’s kind of also a little melancholy, you know. Because a lot has changed and we have all gone down different roads, some easy and some not so easy for each of us… It was brutal, and also you can’t turn it off,” she said.

“There’s cameras everywhere and I can’t stop crying… I think it really took us all down way harder than we anticipated.”
