Monica Geller is Friends’ resident controlling and domineering figure. The mother of the group, she plans their activities. Hosts their gatherings and holidays. And even tends to their needs on many occasions. She’s the one the others rely on. Not only for support and comfort but also for guidance and, sometimes, advice.
MONICA:Fun Bobby & The Alcohol
During season two, Monica starts dating Fun Bobby again. It’s going great until she realizes Bobby has a drinking problem. She finally confronts him and he admits to it, but makes light of the situation. “Look, maybe this is none of my business, or maybe it is, I don’t know, but I’m kinda worried about you,” she tells him after he pours alcohol into his coffee.
MONICA FRIENDS:Helping Rachel & Joey Get Their Groove Back
After Joey confesses his love for Rachel, the two find themselves in an uncomfortable situation. Joey can’t seem to be able to speak to Rachel, and she feels confused and strange. Wanting to go back to the way things were, she asks for Monica and Chandler’s help. He can’t offer anything but sarcasm, but Monica actually gives good advice.
MONICA FRIENDS:The Ultimate Fighting Champion
In the final episodes of season three, Monica begins dating Pete Becker, a somewhat eccentric millionaire with a proclivity for grand gestures. After he reveals his desire to become The Ultimate Fighting Champion, Monica becomes concerned when she realizes how extreme the competition really is. Pete proves drastically unprepared for the challenge and gets savagely beaten.
Because Of Her Meddling!
Shortly before the climactic trip to Barbados at the end of season nine, Chandler accidentally suggests David should propose to Phoebe. Monica scolds him, and realizing her blonde friend is still in love with Mike, decides to call him and let him know about David’s intentions.
Monica, Sex-Ed Teacher
One of Monica’s most memorable moments in the show comes in season four. After Chandler says his first time with Kathy wasn’t as good as it could’ve been, Monica takes it upon herself to help her clueless friend. She reveals there are seven erogenous zones in a woman’s body.
