Renowned television personalities Neil Patrick Harris and Mayim Bialik are most recognized for their roles in The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother, respectively. But the two are far more alike than just well-known sitcom performers on television.

As emerging young talents in the early 1990s, Harris and Bialik collaborated on several projects together. The two were so close that they appeared on each other’s shows frequently and turned into celebrity besties. However, one mistake that the actress still feels awful about caused their friendship to deteriorate.

In the 1980s, Mayim Bialik and Neil Patrick Harris both began their acting careers as child stars and quickly became friends. They were a fantastic pair because they had the same agent and had comparable proclivities.
She talked about their friendship in a subsequently scheduled interview with The Chicago Tribune.
Neil Patrick Harris and I were friends as teenagers. We had the same agent and we ran in the same social circles. He was very cerebral and I was too, so we weren’t the party kids. We had a lot of fun times together as teenagers.
Harris began performing in theater at the beginning of the 1990s, and she was cast in the rock musical Rent. He also asked Bialik, a buddy, to the performance. Regarding Harris’ selection for the show, the actress remarked, “I was really excited for him.”

Bialik isn’t a big lover of Broadway, though. Nevertheless, she went to the performance and supported her friend. With the exception of one guy, the star of The Big Bang Theory, everyone applauded and gave the stars a standing ovation as the show came to a conclusion.
The actress, who was seated in the second row, turned to face her ex-boyfriend and said, “I’m not going to defend this.” From there, things just got worse.
One Misstep Soured Neil Patrick Harris and Mayim Bialik’s Friendship

Despite her admiration for him and the show, Bialik asserted that “it just wasn’t my thing.” She also feared Harris might have overheard her remark. When she encountered him backstage, her worries were validated.
She remembered him asking her, “Why did you say you weren’t going to stand up?” and said that’s when things turned awkward. Bialik thought it signaled the end of their friendship and called it the worst sensation. She is still filled with guilt about it.
They gradually drifted apart. The actress posted a photo of herself with Harris on Instagram after she chatted with the magazine, stating that he had sent her flowers and had forgiven her.

The actor tweeted, “Mayim Bialik and I have been friends for over 30 years,” in support of his longtime pal X. Her dislike of musical theater won’t make a difference in that.
After Bialik’s actions at the theater, their friendship took a turn for the worse, but it now seems as though they have made up and are once again close friends.
