The Story of Hollywood Girlfriends Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox’s Relationship over 14 Years

The “Friends” stars have been great friends since the beginning of the show. Their relationship grew over the years and they’re still besties to this day. Aniston and Monica are best friends.

From being the maid of honor at Aniston’s wedding, to supporting her during her divorce from the A-lister Brad Pitt – Courtney Cox is what you can call “the friend you can always count on.”

The pair didn’t have to live up to the pressure to be besties off-camera, because as all the “Friends” cast said several times, they all got along pretty well right from the get-go.

The on-screen BFFs Monica and Rachel have a beautiful connection in real life too. When “Friends” hit the mark of the #1 sitcom in the world, and Aniston was the only one who landed an Emmy, the togetherness didn’t seem to change.

There was a point that the friends gathered together to watch the weekly show. Kudrow and Cox started to eat the “Jennifer salad” every day for lunch. A combination of garbanzos beans and turkey bacon with a salad that Aniston would often eat.

Aniston shared with the More magazine in 2014 about her maid of honor and frequent vacation buddy:

“There’s absolutely no judgment in Court. You’ll never feel scolded. She’s extremely fair, ridiculously loyal and fiercely loving.”

And they’ve been supporting each other in many aspects of each others’ lives. In 2004, Cox asked Aniston to be the godmother of her daughter Coco and Aniston named Cox her maid of honor on her wedding ceremony with Justin Theroux.

And as they say: Friends are there for better or worse. According to E! Online, the pair had had dinner together just a couple of days before Aniston publicly announced her divorce from Theroux.

The bestie Cox was seen leaving Aniston’s house two weeks later. A source told E! that Cox always gave Aniston unconditional support.

Maybe because the “Friends” cast got along pretty well in real life since the beginning, that might have translated into a great synergy among the actors. And the audience felt that too.

The six eternal friends, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and Matthew Perry along with Aniston and Cox have remained friends since the final episode aired in 2004.

Despite admittedly said on the HBO special “Friends: The Reunion” debuted in May that they haven’t seen each other in a while, the chemistry is noticeably still the same.
